@Equinox, Hippietrail: Hi. You entered capitalised forms, which should be in lower case: ма́сленица (máslenica) already exists and пле́тью о́буха не перешибёшь (plétʹju óbuxa ne perešibjóšʹ) is complete.

@Per utramque cavernam: Are these attestable? Where do you get those terms? By removing the -вать suffix?

Бодрство (Словарь русского языка XI—XVII веков, vol. 1, p. 270); мудрство (ibid., vol. 9, p. 298; example). Шествовать is not from *шество, it's from шествие, from Old Church Slavonic шьстие.--Cinemantique (talk) 12:10, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

@Cinemantique: Thanks for the links. The trouble is that it seems that these are only mentioned in dictionaries. Checking the Russian National corpus is a good idea. I did and found nothing. @Atitarev: Interestingly, they do sound rather normal to me. In any case they are citable: бодрство 1, 2, 3 (p. 73); мудрство 1, 2 (p. 122), 3 (p. 7); шество 1, 2, 3 (p. 17); there are also many uses over the Web. Probably a label ‘rare’ should do.

I actually find Cinemantique’s references above more valuable, as they show that бодрство and мудрство aren’t just back-formed. And even though шество is, шествовать should still be analysed as deriving from шеств(ие). Guldrelokk (talk) 19:45, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
