Borrowed from Proto-Norse [Term?] (compare Norwegian neste, Old English nestila).

- tack, thumbtack, pin, pushpin, drawing pin (a small nail-like fastener that can be pushed in with one's finger)
- stud (small protruding object, such as those on studded tyres)
- (automotive, slang, in the plural) studded tyre

- I swapped the studded tyres on in October already, because the first snow came.
