- 2021 May 24, ““산림조성 40년인데 오래된 나무?… 대규모 벌목 추진 성급했다” [“sallimjoseong 40nyeoninde oraedoen namu?… daegyumo beolmok chujin seonggeuphaetda”]”, in The Chosun Ilbo‎^[1]:
  “좀 성급했다. 노령림(老齡林)이란 용어 자체 -가 어폐-가 있다. 우리나라 -가 민둥산 -에서 벗어나 녹화 -에 성공한 것 -은 1970년대 후반 -이다. 대부분 40 ~50 년 정도 밖 -에 안 된 나무 들 -이다.”
