Etymology[edit]
From 浴びせ (abise, the 連用形 (ren’yōkei, “stem or continuative form”) of verb 浴びせる (abiseru), “to put one’s own body (onto an opponent)”) + 倒し (taoshi, the 連用形 (ren’yōkei, “stem or continuative form”) of verb 倒す (taosu), “to throw down”).
