English[edit]
Description[edit]
Depiction of a knot (but see usage notes).
Etymology[edit]
The first sense is derived from the absence of an emoji or Unicode character for a rope; rather, this symbol specifically represents a knot.
The second and fifth senses are puns, and the third and fourth are metonyms; the former is derived from the use of rope as a method of suicide.
Symbol[edit]
- Rope.
- (literal, uncommon) Not.
- (euphemistic, rare) Filter-avoidance spelling of suicide.

- Quite literally there was a 14 year old furry who 🪢 live on insta(or TikTok can't remember) herself cuz she was being told to ☠️ herself
- (BDSM, metonymically) Bondage.
- (furry fandom slang, euphemistic) Knot; slang for bulbus glandis.
Usage notes[edit]
- As an emoji, the design of 🪢 greatly varies by operating system/platform. However, most depictions are generally brightly-coloured and show either a square knot, figure-eight knot, or a carrick bend.[1]
