- 2023 May 28, “Hồ Chí Minh người anh hùng giải phóng dân tộc, nhà văn hóa kiệt xuất của Việt Nam [Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's National-liberating and Cultural Hero]”, in Tổng cục Thống kê [The General Statistics Office]:

- (Catholicism) He/Him, the Lord
- Synonym: Ngài

- The Lord told him, "Your name is Jacob, but I shall call you Jacob no more, your name shall be Israel." And so He named him Israel.
- (Catholicism) He/Him, Jesus Christ

Usage notes
[edit]The translators of the Catholic version seem to have made a conscious effort to only use the capitalized Người for God and Jesus and avoid the uncapitalized người for other characters altogether. The translators of the Protestant version, however, used Ngài instead, and người for other venerable characters.
