Hungarian

Etymology

Possibly from Proto-Uralic *luwe (bone)[1] + the suffix -b, used in an unusual diminutive function. Compare Northern Mansi Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "mns" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E. and Finnish luu.

Alternately, from Proto-Uralic *lümpe (blade, flat part, width (of hand or foot))[2], akin to Selkup Lua error in Module:parameters at line 290: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "sel" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E..
