    Multiplier : seitsenkertainen

Etymology

From Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "fiu-fin-pro" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF., from Proto-Finno-Permic *śäjćem. Cognate with Estonian seitse (seven). The ending -än may have been added by analogy with kahdeksan and yhdeksän, largely displacing earlier seitsen.

Pronunciation

  • IPA(key): /ˈsei̯tsemæn/, [ˈs̠e̞i̯ts̠e̞mæn]
  • Hyphenation: seit‧se‧män

Numeral

seitsemän

  1. seven

Usage notes

Declension

Declension is the same as type koira (number 10), except of the nominative singular form (*), where an -n is added at the end.
