Do not provide anything more than the category already provided.--2001:DA8:201:3512:B554:DB4A:9A6A:4506 14:07, 23 October 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. At least until the requestor explains some more. Does he mean all of Wikisaurus or just the alphabet page? I don't know of any way of accessing the entries except via the alphabetical list. What does he mean by "categories"? The individual entries? Does he intend us to leave the page as is ("Do not provide anything more..."); to post no edits ever again to Wikisaurus but leave the page or pages standing? I'm confused. --RoyGoldsmith (talk) 02:16, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
- = The page named above is redundant to [[:Category:Wikisaurus]]. —suzukaze (t・c) 02:19, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

- If it is redundant to [[:Category:Wikisaurus]] (and it looks like it) then yes, may as well delete. Equinox ◑ 02:22, 28 October 2017 (UTC)
- I don't know, the search engine seems rather handy. But at leat rename to Wiktionary:All Thesaurus pages. --Barytonesis (talk) 13:51, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

- Keep: Gives a much better overview than [[:Category:Thesaurus]] since 1) the category only lists 200 items per page, 2) on the nominated page, the items appear without the Thesaurus: prefix. No added value in deleting the page. --Dan Polansky (talk) 09:31, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
- We haven't had a comment in over 3 months, well beyond the week that's standard in Wikipedia's AfD. Unless someone objects, I'm going remove the RfD (or get an admin to do it), citing No Consensus. --RoyGoldsmith (talk) 13:34, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.
Duplicates the function of Category:Thesaurus. Also woefully incomplete, as pages are added in sections determined by their first letter (i.e. all thesaurus pages beginning with "A", then all pages beginning with "B" etc.), which means that it fails to include anything that doesn't begin with one of the 26 letters of the English alphabet. Yes, this could obviously be rectified, but given that there are over 100,000 Unicode characters, this presents an obvious maintenance nightmare. I also don't see any value in including a list of pages that aren't sorted by language, either.
Let's just do this via categories, like we do for everything else. Our thesaurus pages are currently badly under-categorised (e.g. the majority of English thesaurus pages are not sorted into Category:English thesaurus entries), so this presents a good opportunity to bring our thesaurus practice in-line with how we do things in mainspace. - Note that there is a stale but unresolved RFM discussion for Category:Thesaurus. - excarnateSojourner (talk | contrib) 23:36, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
- Delete, very much a job for categories. Ultimateria (talk) 19:47, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- I vote keep on the basis of elegance. It seems that the vast majority of our thesaurus entries are not categorized by language, by theme, or by anything other than being a thesaurus entry .... note that Category:English thesaurus entries has only 101 entries out of the more than 4,000 thesaurus pages we have. The Category:Thesaurus master category does contain these entries, but they are pushed to the bottom of the page, and every entry begins with "Thesaurus:" instead of just listing the word. Therefore I think the page we are discussing here has a useful purpose. But we should put a prominent link near the top pointing the reader to the Category portal to let them know that we have another way to browse the thesaurus besides the direct alphabetical listing. —Soap— 15:26, 11 March 2023 (UTC)

The categorisation situation has now been resolved, with all Thesaurus entries now under the Cat:Thesaurus entries by language tree. There is no longer a need for this page. RFD-deleted This, that and the other (talk) 11:06, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
