Estonian

Etymology

From Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "fiu-fin-pro" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Proto-Uralic *laćke- ~ *laśke-.

Verb

laskma (da-infinitive lasta)

  1. to let, to allow
  2. to fire, to shoot
  3. to lower (usually with alla)

Usage notes

The past forms with -sk- are uncommon and can be considered a bit dated. The past active participle has 2 colloquial elided forms: lasnud and last. The latter is very rare in writing.
