From Proto-Tai *ra. Cognate with Lao ຮາ (hā).

- The pronoun is now archaic in Central Thai, but is still in everyday use in some dialects, such as Northern Thai where it appears as the vulgar ᩁᩣ/ฮา (haa) and is almost always used singularly.
