Seems to be Chinese, marked as "Sriracha language" (if only!) and categorised as Chamorro. I haven't a clue whether this is valid Chinese or not (although it at least appears in the Chinese Wikipedia) and I unfortunately don't know any Chinese entry formatting. Needs looking at by someone who actually knows the language. Smurrayinchester (talk) 09:41, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • The Chinese here is the Chinese string for "Sriracha (是拉差) fragrant sweet spicy pepper sauce (香甜辣椒醬)", i.e. the name and description of the product. The entry needs at least a cleanup, and might also need vetting to see if this passes muster, inasmuch as this is a brand name. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │ Tala við mig 10:10, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't look like a dictionary entry 是拉差 (Shìlāchà) is the transliteration of sriracha + 香甜 (xiāngtián) "fragrant and sweet" + 辣椒酱 (làjiāojiàng) "chili sauce". --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 21:43, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've made entries for missing components and added a usage example to 是拉差 (Shìlāchà), sent the entry to RFD. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:09, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the RFC tag as the entry is cleaned up and it's now in RFD. Any objections? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 22:47, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. Is there a better term for sriracha sauce in Chinese? —Stephen (Talk) 06:17, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If a translation table in sriracha is created, then an SoP translation can be added to link individual words as in 是拉差 (Shìlāchā):
是拉差香甜辣椒醬 [MSC, trad.]
是拉差香甜辣椒酱 [MSC, simp.]
Shìlāchā xiāngtián làjiāojiàng [Pinyin]
Si Racha fragrant and sweet chili sauce

Please see sriracha#Translations, I've added some translations, it's possible to simply say 是拉差, which is "sriracha sauce". --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 06:48, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
