Categorization[edit]

@KevinUp Hi, now this template on entry 屙 is broken. Any idea how to fix? Dokurrat (talk) 07:55, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Dokurrat: Oops, I forget that you've been using this for {{zh-forms}} as well. The issue here is that it conflicts with Module:zh-forms. There are two solutions I can think of: (1) Remove the categorization (but that means the entry itself does not enter Category:Chinese terms with obsolete senses) (2) Create a separate template for the purpose of having the tooltip sign. I can then search through entries where the template is used for this purpose and list it out for you.
Fixing Module:zh-forms will categorize any entry using this template. Or would you prefer to just use {{zh-forms|alt=𡱻-historical variant}} instead? KevinUp (talk) 08:37, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@KevinUp: I don't mind creating a separate template for usages in {{zh-forms}}. Dokurrat (talk) 08:41, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like we already have {{zh-hd/s}}. Okay, the following entries have such usages: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , . KevinUp (talk) 08:58, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

polysyllabic words[edit]

Can this template be used for polysyllabic words? If not, should I use {{lb|zh|obsolete|rare}} instead? (I like the OED label "rare-0" for terms with no citations.) --Dine2016 (talk) 09:22, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
