- Verbs: the ε augment for past tenses (imperfect, simple Past) is now less in use in some types: e.g. λυνόμουν - (ε)λυνόμουν. Today, one would employ this ε as euphonic.
- Subiunctivus (υποτακτική) was still used in demotic (cf. #Triantafyllidis 1941 schoolgrammar of the time) e.g. νά κάνης, νά κάνη (without the subscript iota (υπογεγραμμένη) which is used in ancient: νὰ κάνῃ) [also, βαρεία grave accent was not demanded at schools of the 1950s and 1960s.]
