[edit]From Proto-Vietic *muːs (“nose”), from Proto-Austroasiatic *muːh ~ *muːɕ (“nose”). Cognate with Khmer ច្រមុះ (crɑmoh), Bahnar muh, Khasi khmut, Mon မိုဟ်, Car Nicobarese meh.
