  1. to find; to hit upon, to come across [with أَنَّ (ʔanna, + clause)]
    Antonym: فَقَدَ (faqada, to lose)
    وَجَدَ أَنَّ النَّتَائِجَ لَا تَكُونُ جَيِّدَةً حِينَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَرَاهُ صَحِيحًا.
    wajada ʔanna n-natāʔija lā takūnu jayyidatan ḥīna yafʕalu mā yarāhu ṣaḥīḥan.
    He found that the results are not good when he does what he sees as right.
