Etymology

From 2014 TV show X-Change Season 8, on which Wang Jingze said:

王境澤就是餓死外邊下去,(不會你們一點東西 [MSC, trad.]
王境泽就是饿死外边下去,(不会你们一点东西 [MSC, simp.]

Wǒ Wáng Jìngzé jiùshì èsǐ, sǐ wàibiān, cóng zhè tiào xiàqù, (yě) bùhuì chī nǐmen yīdiǎn dōngxī! [Pinyin]
I, Wang Jingze, would rather starve, die outside, or jump down here than eat food you give!

at first, but after only 2 hours he said "真香 (zhēn xiāng, “really fragrant”)" when he was having supper.
