Inherited from Early Assamese তাই (tai), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "inc-mgd" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit তযা (tayā, by her (instrumental case)). Cognate with Bengali তাই (tai), Sylheti ꠔꠣꠁ (tai).
