    ան- (an-) + ‎օժիտ (ōžit, dowry) → ‎անօժիտ (anōžit, without a dowry, portionless)
  2. forming the opposites of adjectives, un-, dis-, a-
    ան- (an-) + ‎համաչափ (hamačʻapʻ, symmetrical) → ‎անհամաչափ (anhamačʻapʻ, asymmetric)
    ան- (an-) + ‎համաձայն (hamajayn, concordant) → ‎անհամաձայն (anhamajayn, discordant)
