Etymology

Translation of Sanskrit प्रज्ञाचक्षुस् (prajñācakṣus, eye of understanding; eye of wisdom) or Pali paññācakkhu (idem). Tibetan equivalent is ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་སྤྱན (shes rab kyi spyan, eye of wisdom).

Pronunciation
