Usage notes
- This ending is always unstressed. In circumstances where it would be stressed, -о (-o) replaces it. Compare хорошо́ (xorošó, “well”) from хоро́ший (xoróšij, “good”), давно́ (davnó, “long ago”) from да́вний (dávnij, “old, ancient, bygone”), etc.
