  5. to reflect (i.e. of a reflective surface)
  6. to echo (of sound, to come back)
  7. (transitive) to fire, dismiss, expel a student
  8. (followed by the preposition à) to refer (somebody to something)
  9. to remind (somebody of something)

This verb is is one a few verbs that conjugate like noyer, except in the future and conditional, where they conjugate like voir.
