Have an entry request? Add it to the list – but please:
- Consider creating a citations page with your evidence that the word exists instead of simply listing it here
- Think twice before adding long lists of words as they may be ignored.
- If possible provide context, usage, field of relevance, etc.
- Check the Wiktionary:Criteria for inclusion if you are unsure if it belongs in the dictionary.
- If the entry already exists, but seems incomplete or incorrect, do not add it here; add a request template to the entry itself to ask someone to fix the problem, e.g.
{{rfp}}
or{{rfe}}
for pronunciation or etymology respectively.- — Note also that such requests, like the information requested, belong on the base form of a word, not on inflected forms.
Please remove entries from this list once they have been written (i.e. the link is “live”, shown in blue, and has a section for the correct language)
There are a few things you can do to help:
- Add glosses or brief definitions.
- Add the part of speech, preferably using a standardized template.
- If you know what a word means, consider creating the entry yourself instead of using this request page.
- For words which are listed here only in their romanized form, please add the correct form in Chinese script.
- Don’t delete words just because you don’t know them – it may be that they are used only in certain contexts or are archaic or obsolete.
- Don’t simply replace words with what you believe is the correct form. The form here may be rare or regional. Instead add the standard form and comment that the requested form seems to be an error in your experience.
Requested-entry pages for other languages: Category:Requested entries.

- Wiktionary:Requested entries (Unknown language, CJK script)
- Accelerated entry creation template:
{{zh-new}}
(should be used with care)
- Please also give a reference of where you see the word (if possible), so that wrong phrase-breaking can be picked out and the correct phrase can be proposed instead. Do not request sum of parts entries or entries unlikely to meet WT:CFI#Attestation rules.
- Please do not request additional senses or parts of speech or verification of existing senses here (consider WT:RT for that). This page is only used for requesting missing Chinese entries (red links or a existing entries but in a different language, e.g. Japanese) — new entries (Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese entries may exist prior to the request; these entries are marked with asterisks).

- 襄王有意神女無心/襄王有意神女无心 (which 襄王 is this? Does 神女 refer to a specific person or being?)
- "襄王" refers to "楚襄王" who is the emperor ruled the Chu("楚") Country from 298 B.C. to 263 B.C.. "神女" simply refers to a goddess. This sentence appears in the essay 《神女赋》(lit. A Fu to a goddess) by Song Yu(宋玉) which tells a tale that the emperor of Chu met a goddess in his dream, fell in love with her, proposed to her, but the goddess refused him. So this sentence means "one-sided lovesickness", and its synonym in Chinese is "单相思", in Japanese "片思い".

- 简极主义 - minimalism?

- No, 极简 means extremely simple, which is minimal; 简约主义 sounds more like "simplicitism"; in re 极少主义 I searched and found this zhihu discussion, those two guys left some hint: in 极简主义 is a philosophy and 极少主义 is an art movement---which is merely a habitual choice of word usage. -- SzMithrandir (talk) 08:35, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
