Etymology

From Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "fiu-fin-pro" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF., from *-k (marker for the present tense) + *-te (etymologically identical to te, the second-person plural personal pronoun). In the past tense, there was originally -i- in place of -k- (*-ite) but the present suffix has been generalized to all tenses and moods.
