Inflection[edit]

Usage notes[edit]

  • The inflected forms shown in the table are used as adverbs, postpositions and prepositions, see appropriate entries.

Synonyms[edit]

Postposition[edit]

(genitive +) ohi

  1. (spatial) by, past (when one goes through the space that is next to something):
Pallo pyöri tuolin ohi ja ovesta ulos.
The ball rolled by the chair and out of the door.
    Pallo pyöri minun ohitseni.
