- Tesaṃ kho vyañjanānaṃ kakārādayo makārantā pañcapañcaso akkharavanto vaggā nāma honti.
- From 'k' to 'm' of these very consonants are five by five divisions (called such) of consonants.
Usage notes
[edit]The case form तद् (tad) is only used before vowels and as the prefixed combining form. Before vowels, the halant and independent vowel coalesce to the corresponding dependent vowel.
