Usage notes
The Kangxi dictionary lists 真 as the unorthodox form (俗字) of 眞. Note, however, that this traditional form 眞, with 匕 on top, is rarely used nowadays except in Korea. 真 is more commonly used in both traditional and simplified Chinese scripts as well as Japanese shinjitai.
Chinese
For pronunciation and definitions of 眞 – see 真 (“true; genuine; real; actual; clear; distinct; sharp; etc.”). (This character is a variant form of 真). |
