Etymology
From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Ugric *säptɜ (“seven”), borrowed from an (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "ine" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E. language ((deprecated template usage) [etyl] Proto-Indo-European *septḿ̥); compare Sanskrit सप्तन् (saptán), Ancient Greek ἑπτά (heptá). Initial h- is by analogy with hat (“six”). Compare Mansi.
