Usage notes

[edit]

This phrase must be used after a person's own name. If the full name of a person is mentioned, the name is usually followed by the total number of characters in the name, e.g. 陳大文過來陳大文过来 (“I'll write my name Chen Dawen upside down/backwards”). One can also say 名字過來名字过来 (“I'll write my name upside down/backwards”).
