      Futari tomo bushō na seishitsu na no de, kotatsu ni atatta mama, [shōgi]ban o yagura no ue e nosete, koma o ugokasu tabi ni, wazawaza te o kakebuton no shita kara dasu yō na koto o shita.
      As we were both quite lazy, we sat at the kotatsu, with the [shōgi] board atop the yagura, and every time we moved a piece we'd have to reach a hand out from under the blanket.
