     Section 1382 [Where] anyone has possessed [an item of] property of another person by a peaceful means and in an open manner with the intention of becoming its owner, and if, in case of an immovable, he has possessed it for a period of ten consecutive years or if, in case of a movable, he has possessed it for a period of five consecutive years, LORD says that the said person has acquired the ownership [thereof].

     Section 261 The preferential right of the lessor of land extends over all the movables which the lessee has brought into and placed upon the land leased or [which the lessee has] brought into and placed within the buildings subservient to the use of such land, and extends over such movables as are destined for the use of such land as well as over the fruits which have arisen from the land and are in the possession of the lessee.
