      絞水 (うづ) (ふち)あり。 (かれ)宇頭 (うづ) (がわ) (なづ)
      Uzu no fuchi ari. Kare, Uzugawa to nazuku.
      There is a deep whirl / eddy pool there. As such, it is called “Uzugawa” (Eddy River).
