The young scholar followed her words and set off with the coming of evening. Suddenly, he saw a lone branch of peach blossoms going over the wall and casting a trembling, slender shadow. He went to look at it. A bamboo basket was lowered by the silken cables of a swing. The scholar clambered up and crossed the wall. He met the moon ascending the eastern hill; flowers' shadows were on the earth, and their clear fragrance was to be loved.
[Korean Literary Sinitic, trad.]
